In addition to daily maintenance of the public right of way, the Street Maintenance Crews are always on-call! Whether replacing knocked-down traffic signs, unclogging storm drains during rain events, or setting up traffic control to assist in public safety, the Crews keep the City safe.
Street Maintenance also adminsters the following programs:

Annual Sidewalk Steam Cleaning contract. This program steam cleans sidewalks in Old Town (Hollister Avenue between Fairview Avenue and State Route 217) twice a year.

Annual Concrete Maintenance contract. This program provides concrete grinding and repairing throughout the year.

Street Sweeping contract. Provides street sweeping to the eastern portion of Goleta.

Provide maintenance on City-owned facilities such as the Goleta Libarary and the Stow House.
