Tuesday, July 7: County Board of Supervisors Meeting and Goleta City Council Meeting
Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors Meeting
The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors will hear an update on COVID-19 at their regular meeting on July 7 at 9:00 a.m. The meeting is available live on Channel 20, online at www.countyofsb.org/ceo/csbtv/livestream.sbc, or on YouTube (www.youtube.com/user/CSBTV20).
Goleta City Council Meeting
The Goleta City Council will hold its regular virtual meeting at 5:30 p.m. and can be watched live on Channel 19 or on the City's website at www.cityofgoleta.org/GoletaMeetings. There are several items on the agenda, including: a resolution to hold a General Municipal Election on November 3, 2020; COVID-19 Small Business Assistance Programs; recipients of the Goleta City Grant Program for FY 2020/21; and more. Saturday, July 11: Make Goleta Count Census 2020 Car Caravan
The City of Goleta will lead a Make Goleta Count 2020 Census Car Caravan this Saturday, July 11, from 11:00 a.m. – Noon. More than one dozen vehicles will participate in the caravan, including Congressman Carbajal, Supervisors Hart & Hartmann, Mayor Perotte & Goleta City Councilmembers, Joni Maiden (Complete Count Committee Co-Chair), Ana Maria Lugo (Census Lead Partner Specialist), Josefa Rios (Santa Barbara Promotores Network) and City of Goleta staff. The caravan will begin at the Goleta Valley Community Center (5679 Hollister Avenue), drive through Goleta neighborhoods, and end at Dos Pueblos High School (7266 Alameda Avenue).
