If you’ve been thinking about starting a garden, now is a perfect opportunity. The City of Goleta and the UC Master Gardener Program are offering a beginner-friendly series to help you grow your own vegetables with confidence.

• Dates: Saturdays March 7, 14, 21, & 28
• Time: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. 
• Location: Armitos Park Community Garden in Old Town Goleta (near the intersection of S. Kellogg Avenue and Armitos Avenue)

This 4-week class will cover: site selection, soil testing, composting, and what, when & how to plant.
