April is Earthquake Preparedness Month, and while it's a great reminder to get ready now, earthquake preparedness is something Californians should think about year-round.
The Golden State is no stranger to seismic activity. In just the past few years, we have experienced some notable earthquakes, from the Bay Area to Southern California.
That’s why knowing what to do if an earthquake hits our community is essential, because it’s not a matter of if an earthquake will strike, but when.
The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), home to the Earthquake Warning California program, wants to make sure all Californians know what to do before, during, and after an earthquake hits.
