Items on the agenda include:
- The City Council will recognize June 2026 as LGTBQ+ Pride Month. 2026 marks the 57th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. The LGBTQ+ community – alongside dedicated advocates, allies, and organizations such as Pacific Pride Foundation, which celebrates its 51st anniversary in 2026 – remains steadfast in the pursuit of inclusivity, equality, and dignity for all people, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. On June 1st, the Pride Flag will be raised in front of City Hall. All are invited to take part in local Pride events and to stand as advocates and allies, united in rejecting prejudice and honoring the rich diversity of our community. Vision Zero is founded on the principle that serious injury and fatal traffic collisions are preventable, and that no loss of life or serious injury on the transportation system is acceptable. The City has a Capital Improvement Program Project to prepare and implement the Vision Zero Plan. The City received a grant from the Federal Highway Administration Safe Streets For All for its Vision Zero Plan. This Project is the first phase of the Plan.
