Here are the Top Ten Reasons You Should Attend

Post Date:06/23/2026 1:13 PM

Goleta’s Fourth of July Drone Light Show is less than two weeks away! This free community event is back by popular demand and thanks to many generous local sponsors. Taking place at Dos Pueblos High School football stadium (7266 Alameda Ave, Goleta), there will be family fun, activities, and entertainment. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the approximately 12-minute-long drone show will begin at nightfall, around 9:15 p.m. Get your reserved seating now! For more information, watch our video invite in English and Spanish and visit www.CityofGoleta.org/July4.

There are so many reasons to attend this special event, but here are our top 10 (in no particular order).

  1. Celebrate America’s 250th birthday in style – come watch 250 drones illuminate the sky in a choreographed show.
  2. Dance to patriotic tunes with DJ Darla Bea and saxophonist Gerry Smith Jr.
  3. Bring your boots for line-dancing with instructor Tin Le.
  4. Listen to a performance by Brynn Wood, 2026 winner of Teen Star Santa Barbara.
  5. Kids will be entertained with games, activities, face painting and more.
  6. Come hungry! There will be a wide variety of food trucks available for all taste buds: Don Pepe’s, Kona Ice, Lobo Butcher Shop, Pancho’s Tacos, Santa Barbara Food Connection, Santa Barbara Hives, and Sassafrass. No large coolers or ice chests are permitted.
  7. New this year – purchase limited reserve seating as an event fundraiser. You can also still grab a seat in the bleachers or bring blankets and beach chairs to sit on the track and turf field area. No camping chairs or pets allowed
  8. Stress free parking – take our free Santa Barbara Airbus shuttles roundtrip from Costco at the Camino Real Marketplace to Dos Pueblos High School (DPHS). Parking is also available at DPHS under the solar array on a first-come basis.
  9. Help make this event a success and volunteer! Sign ups still available here.
