The last day of the season for the City’s new Splash Pad at Jonny D. Wallis Neighborhood Park is on Monday, September 7 (Labor Day) at 6:00 p.m. It’s a great way to cool off during these warm summer days and its been a great first season for the splash pad. As a reminder:

The splash pad is open six days per week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is closed on Wednesdays for routine maintenance.

• Children are required to have adult supervision. There are no lifeguards on duty.
• Children under three years of age must wear a swim diaper.
• No pets, food, candy, gum, or glass permitted on the splash pad.
• Although the water is treated, sanitized, and recirculated—do not drink the water.
• Be ready to get wet and be sure to bring your swimsuit and towels.
• Water shoes and bare feet only on the splash pad.
• Users are requested to rinse off before use and showers are available.
• Parking at the park is limited, so please consider riding your bike, walking or carpooling.
• There is no entry fee—the splash pad is free to use!

We hope you get to enjoy the splash pad before it closes for the season (last day is Sep. 7). It is scheduled to re-open Memorial Day Weekend 2027.
