There is nothing like an iced coffee during this warm weather and time with people who love your community as much as you do. You can experience both THIS Saturday, August 29, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the third Coffee and Community / Café y Comunidad event of the year. We hope you will bring your family and friends and spend your Saturday morning with us at Rinkside Café located at the Ice in Paradise Skating Rink (6985 Santa Felicia Drive). We will be set up in the outdoor patio and inside the café with activities on the lawn.

Come meet and chat with District 4 Councilmember Stuart Kasdin, Mayor Paula Perotte, and Goleta’s Chief of Police Services, Lt. Jarret Morris. Whether you have a question for the City, want to share an idea, or simply to catch up with neighbors, this is a relaxed opportunity to connect with your community.

Councilmember Kasdin will welcome attendees around 9:30 a.m., followed by conversation and an opportunity to ask questions about issues affecting western Goleta..

If iced coffee is not your thing, Rinkside Café will be serving up warm coffee as well, mini-muffins and other light refreshments while supplies last. There will also be activities for kids, free skate passes (skate rental not included), and a chance to help Ice in Paradise Skating Rink name its new ice resurfacer!

Coffee & Community / Café y Comunidad events are held throughout the year in each of Goleta’s four districts, but you don't have to live in District 4 to attend. Everyone is welcome!
