Notice under the Americans with Disabilities Act - ADA
In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), the City of Goleta will not discriminate against individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities.
The City of Goleta will seek to provide, upon request, appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in the City of Goleta programs, services, and activities.
The City of Goleta will make reasonable accommodations to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy its programs, services, and activities.
Anyone who requires a disability-related modification, an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Goleta or accommodation in order to participate in a government meeting, should contact the City Clerk's Office at (805) 961-7505 as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled meeting or scheduled event.
Complaints that a program, service, or activity of the City of Goleta is not accessible to persons with disabilities should be directed to Todd Mitchell, ADA / 504 Coordinator.
ADA / 504 Coordinator
The ADA / 504 Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the City of Goleta to comply with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and investigating any concerns or complaints regarding access to City programs, services or activities.
