The Public Information Office is a component of the City Manager’s Office with a goal to provide residents, businesses, and others with information regarding City initiatives, activities, and events. The Office oversees and coordinates many events and programs dedicated to community outreach. The Public Information Office public outreach efforts are designed to enhance and foster a sense of community within the City of Goleta.
The City’s Public Information Office is the point of contact for all media inquiries. In an emergency, the PIO helps disseminate and coordinate vital information to ensure public safety.
The Monarch Press is the City’s online newsletter which is sent by email/text and also available on line at www.goletamonarchpress.com. It provides information on City projects, programs and events.
