Access for Persons with Disabilities
The Library seeks to promote and improve awareness, availability, and accessibility of information for people with disabilities. The public parking lot at the Library has designated parking spots for persons with disabilities. The parking lot entrance to the Library building is equipped with a ramp and automatic door.
The Library also offers the Bookshelf program in partnership with the service organization Las Aletas for patrons unable to visit the library due to a temporary or permanent medical condition. You may request specific material or have Las Aletas volunteers choose material based on your interests. This is a free and confidential service. The library is located at 500 N. Fairview Avenue, Goleta, CA 93117. Parking is available next to the building and behind the church.
From the south
Take the US-101 N to N. Fairview Avenue, Exit 105. Turn right onto N. Fairview Avenue. The Goleta Valley Library is one-half mile on the right, just past the Christian Science Church and directly south of Fairview Gardens.
From the north
Take the US-101 S to N. Fairview Avenue, Exit 105. Turn left onto N. Fairview Avenue. The Goleta Valley Library is one-half mile on the right, just past the Christian Science Church and directly south of Fairview Gardens.
