There are many different volunteer opportunities at the Goleta Valley Library. Teens ages 14 and older can earn Community Service credit by: helping prepare for children’s craft programs, cleaning materials, shelving items, assisting staff with special projects, and helping with the Summer Reading Club. Adults can: check in books that are arriving from other libraries to fill hold requests, look for hold items on our shelves, repair books, help us find missing items, and more. If you are interested, please go to the Volunteer page and fill out a City of Goleta Volunteer Application Form (there is a separate one for minors) and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop it off at the Library.
