Although the City of Goleta has consistently been ranked as one of the safest small cities in California, sexual assaults do occur from time to time in Santa Barbara County and domestic violence can happen anywhere. The City of Goleta participates on the District Attorney’s Isla Vista Sexual Assault Task Force and is dedicated to informing its citizens about these topics in an effort to end sexual assault and domestic violence, and connect survivors and their families with needed services. The following resources are available in Southern Santa Barbara County:
