Ellwood Mesa Open Space and the Monarch Butterfly Grove are Among Goleta’s Most Loved Natural Places

Since 2010, the City of Goleta and its consultants have been studying Ellwood Mesa and the monarch butterfly grove to address urgent concerns of fire risk and degraded monarch butterfly habitat. We are eager to share what we've learned, what we're doing about it, and how you can participate in our efforts to improve habitat, safety, access, and community engagement.
