The project removed existing fencing along the parking lots and install path lighting from Hollister Avenue to the back of the property where the Boys & Girls Club facility is located. The project also included replacing wheel parking stops, parking lot asphalt repair, and minor path repair.

Ped Path Complete

Purpose and Need

To improve pedestrian safety. The existing pathway is an approximately 6-feet wide asphalt concrete path, bordered on both sides by a combination of chain link fencing and block walls, creating a long corridor with no visible exits. In addition, the pathway lacks any lighting.

Strategic Plan Goals

Strengthen Infrastructure.
Return Old Town to be the Vital Center of the City.
Maintain a Safe Community. 

Funding Sources

Funding for this project is through the Community Development block Grant (CDBG) program and General Funds.
