In anticipation of a strong El Nino winter, staff has undertaken various activities to prepare for potential storm events. This year’s preparedness plan was modeled after a similar effort following the Gap Fire in 2008.  This plan was developed and implemented to reduce the threat to life, safety, and potential flood damage to properties within the City of Goleta.
