The City's Investment Program and Policy covers all funds and investment activities of the City. The policy establishes strategies, practices and procedures to be used in investing public funds in a prudent manner, which will provide the maximum security while meeting daily cash flow needs and conforming to all statutes governing the investment of public funds. This policy is intended to guide the investment of City and Redevelopment Agency funds toward the goals of safety, liquidity and yield.
