To initiate an ACH/wire transfer to the City of Goleta: 

1) Obtain a reference ID or case number from the relevant City department. For detailed information on fees and procedures, please contact the department for specific guidance. 

2) Submit a request to financegroup@cityofgoleta.gov and include your contact information:  
    a) Name 

    b) Business (if applicable)  

    c) Phone Number   

    d) Reference ID/Case No.  

3) The Finance department will verify your case/application details with the appropriate City staff and respond with the banking details after confirmation. 

• For ACH Payments, please ensure that a remittance advice is emailed to financegroup@cityofgoleta.gov. 

• For wire payments, ensure your reference ID or case number is noted on the reference to beneficiary. You may reach out to (805)562-5503 to verify banking information to avoid any wire fraud. 

The City does not impose additional fees for electronic transfers; however, your bank may charge a fee. Please consult with your financial institution for specific details and potential fees.
