It's imperative that community members are signed up for both Santa Barbara County and City of Goleta emergency alerts.  Stop now and make sure you are registered for ReadySBC.org alerts via text and/or email.  This is how you will be notified during an emergency.  If the emergency impacts Goleta, the City of Goleta will be sending emergency notifications through its notification system.  Sign up to receive our City emergency alerts here. 

In addition to text and emails, the City also has a phone notification system, Blackboard Connect, to use during an emergency or to relay timely information regarding a city-wide event.  To have your phone number(s) added, send an e-mail with your phone number to jshaw@cityofgoleta.org or call (805) 961-7508.  Please indicate if the number is a landline or cell.
