This class focuses on slow-paced movements in and out of positions that are held for at least one minute with the use of chairs. Stretching and exercise warms the body and can improve your body range of motion and overall balance.

Every Monday

This class focuses in aerobic movements that include marching, dancing, and stretching. All movements are done in sync to music.

Every Thursday
10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Line Dance at the Goleta Community Center offers an opportunity to incorporate activity and fun through dance. Come and learn different dances to a variety of music and make new friends in the process. This class is available to all skill levels with volunteers on site to guide you through the different steps.

Ping Pong has great health benefits for seniors and is a great way to stimulate the brain , promoting quick thinking and improving hand-eye coordination. This activity is a low-injury risk sport that keeps one fit, flexible and improves reflexes. At the Community Center we offer multiple tables and ping pong equipment that caters to players of all skill levels.

Step onto the court and participate in one of the fastest growing sports in the country, Pickleball. This sport serves as a fun opportunity to incorporate active movement as it is a reasonably low-impact game. The Senior Program has designated times and courts spaces to allow interested players an opportunity to play. The court times are open to players of all skill levels.

Come socialize and participate through singing, dancing or simply enjoy the live music form the Swing A Long Band.

Enjoy the benefits of yoga by participating in a safe and manageable way. This class meets at the Senior Center, currently located in the rear near the parking lot. The class incorporates up to two videos focusing on restorative movement.

Join the walking group as they enjoy active walking outdoors and through the Old Town Community. The group meets inside the Goleta Community Center at the Senior Lounge.
